Installation is the process of removing existing floor coverings and laying a floor of your choice. There are different specifications for each flooring product, and we make it a priority to exceed industry standards – every time! We’ve been doing installations for over 35 years and take pride in every job we do.
Hardwood Sanding and Finishing
Sanding and finishing is the process of sanding new wood flooring, applying your preference of stain color and applying multiple coats of the finish of your choice. We use the Bona Dustless System, which is virtually dust-free, keeping dust and clean-up to a minimum.

Hardwood Recoating
Recoating is the process of prepping an existing lightly-worn wood floor, and then applying additional coats of a compatible finish. This is a less intrusive and shorter process than refinishing, usually taking no more than a day to complete. We can brighten up any room with just a simple recoat.

Can you refinish engineered floors?
Usually not, but we can evaluate each floor on a case by case basis and offer a recommendation.
Can you recoat prefinished floors?
Yes, but it is a more specialized process, and compatible finishes must be used.
Can you recoat laminate floors?
No, there is currently no process to ensure adhesion of the finish due to the fact that laminate is a non-porous product.
How do you remove stains from a hardwood floor?
Sometimes sanding and refinishing will remove stains, but if the stains are too deep, we can replace those individual boards to match the existing wood and refinish the entire area.
