Laminate Floors

Laminate is a man-made product of extreme durability. It is a great option for those who want the look of wood at an economical price. We install laminate of every color, grain, size, and price range, according to each customer’s needs and style. When we come out to your home for your free consultation, we will show you several samples to choose from, or give you a price to install laminate that you have already purchased from another source. Depending on the size of your space, it usually takes a day to install, and then you can start walking on your newly installed floors right away.  

Tile Floors

We install tile of various shapes and sizes, including ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone. We install floors, backsplashes, walls, and showers - from preparing the surface for installation to sealing the grout. Tile is an excellent option for areas that are susceptible to moisture and extreme wear. You can supply your own tile for us to install, or we can set up an appointment for you to meet with one of our tile distributors to help make your selection.

Laminate and Tile Flooring FAQs

Can I put tile over plywood?

You cannot put tile over plywood without first installing a mortar-based backer board to ensure proper adhesion.

Can I put tile over sheetrock?

You can put tile over sheetrock if you are installing a backsplash. You cannot put tile over sheetrock if you are installing in a shower area. It should go over a backer board due to the amount of water it will be subjected to.

Is laminate good for a bathroom and/or kitchen?

Most laminates, while very durable, are susceptible to water damage; however you can purchase special laminates and click lock vinyl plank floors that are designed for those areas.

Can you tell the difference in laminate and real wood flooring?

While laminates have gotten more realistic, they will never have the variation and depth of real wood flooring. Laminate is essentially a photograph of real wood.
